Shipping & Returns
While KMD Tuning strives to maintain accurate shipping descriptions and pricing (including free shipping or discounted shipping offers), inaccuracies may occur and/or part manufacturers/suppliers change shipping descriptions and pricing without notice. In the rare case an error exists, KMD Tuning will contact the buyer via e-mail and/or phone with details and options and/or cancel your order with an e-mail or phone notification.
KMD Tuning strives to ship in-stock items within twenty-four (24) business hours of receiving the order (applicable only if orders are received during operating hours and excludes special order, made-to-order, build-to-order and direct-ship items) with the shipping carrier selected during checkout, however, we reserve the right to ship with a carrier of our choice. If you require a specific carrier, please leave a comment in the Notes section of your order form during checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Shipping times may vary depending on the contents of your order. KMD Tuning will only ship an order once all items are available and ready to ship together. KMD Tuning does not ship partial orders unless requested by the customer (additional shipping charges may apply). You can review your order ship details by logging into your online account (we also send shipping updates to the email address provided on the order form).
KMD Tuning cannot be held liable or responsible for shipping delays and/or shipping problems associated with and caused by the shipping carrier. We do not guarantee ship dates, especially estimated dates provided by suppliers, as delivery times are subject to change without notice. Express shipping (overnight, 2-day air and 3-day air) is valid from the date product is shipped from the facility and not from the date the order was placed. Shipments will not be processed on weekends or days when the facility for KMD Tuning, the supplier and/or the carrier is closed for holidays, vacation, inclement weather or inventory assessment. If you need to receive a product by a specific date please add a comment in the Notes section during checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your request and we suggest you call (201-773-9171) or e-mail us (email@example.com) to verify if your request can be accommodated.
KMD Tuning ships to the credit card billing address as indicated during checkout and as approved by the card issuing bank and PayPal. Due to the increasing amount of fraud KMD Tuning will not ship to an address not verified and approved by the cardholder’s card issuing bank and PayPal when the transaction is processed for payment. Once in transit, KMD Tuning will not re-route or cancel the shipment even if requested by the customer. KMD Tuning reserves the right to charge additional fees to the buyer as incurred by the shipping company if the shipping address provided by the buyer is inaccurate, incomplete, invalid, etc.
Shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstances and refunds for service or delivery failures will not be issued under any circumstances. Shipping policies are subject to change at any time without notice.
KMD Tuning reserves the right to ship with a courier and shipping method of our choice for items that qualify for free shipping or discounted shipping. In some cases, guaranteed delivery time, tracking, and package insurance is not an available option with free shipping or discounted shipping, however, it may be available for an additional charge (fee depends on the item, item value, destination, etc.) and we strongly recommend that customers always opt to add shipping insurance to their order by contacting us for personal assistance or adding a comment in the Notes section during checkout. Buyers that do not opt to add shipping insurance to their order will be liable for loss or damage of any kind during transit. KMD Tuning cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage to items or loss of packages during transit if buyer does not opt to add shipping insure to their order.
Free shipping applies to shipments within the contiguous US (48 states) only.
Refused, Non-Deliverable & Unclaimed Shipments:
Domestic orders that are returned to KMD Tuning as refused by receiver, non-deliverable or unclaimed will be subject to a return handling fee and the Returns and Exchanges policy will prevail.
In some cases when a package is refused or has not been picked up at the carrier facility, it may be considered abandoned. Such abandoned packages may be subject to being discarded/destroyed and may not be retrievable. KMD Tuning will not be held responsible for any abandoned packages and we will not issue replacement and refunds or credits for the value.
KMD Tuning reserve the right to ship with a carrier and use a shipping method of our choice, unless a specific carrier and shipping method is requested. In some cases, guaranteed delivery time, tracking, and package insurance is not included or an available option, however, it may be available for an additional charge (fee depends on the item, item value, destination, etc.) by contacting us or adding a comment in the Notes section during checkout. International buyers that do not opt to track or insure their order will be liable for loss or damage of any kind during transit. KMD Tuning cannot be held liable or responsible for any item damage or loss of packages during transit if buyer does not opt to add tracking shipping insure to their order.
International customers are responsible for understanding their country's international buying laws and should be aware that all international purchases are subject to additional brokerage, duty or tax fees that are collected at the time of delivery (in addition to the purchase price and shipping/handling fees collected by KMD Tuning prior to shipping). KMD Tuning is not responsible for these charges as we have no affiliation with tax systems set forth by International countries. If you need more information about possible fees and taxes please contact your local Import/Customs authority. All fees and taxes are the sole responsibility of the consignee/recipient and all charges incurred by KMD Tuning will be charged to the buyer. If the consignee/receiver refuses to pay these additional fees at time of delivery, KMD Tuning will instruct the shipping carrier to abandon the package.
International orders that are unclaimed by the recipient or refused at time of delivery will be subject to carrier package abandonment. Abandoned packages may not be retrievable by the carrier or KMD Tuning and may be discarded/destroyed at the shipping warehouse of your local carrier pick up facility. KMD Tuning will not be held responsible for any abandoned packages and we will not issue replacement and refunds or credits for the value.
Missing or Damaged Items & Lost Packages:
All merchandise is complete (unless otherwise noted) and in good condition when it leaves the facility. If you receive a shipment that has been tampered with or damaged during transit you MUST notify KMD Tuning within fourteen (14) days to initiate a claim by calling 201-773-9171 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You are required to keep all packaging material, boxes and broken products until the shipping carrier and/or KMD Tuning completes the investigation. Failure to report damaged or missing items before forwarding, re-shipping and transferring the package to another location or discarding the packing material, boxes and products or attempts to install, use, repair and modify damaged items will result in immediate claim denial.
If you do not receive your package and the tracking information shows that the shipment has been delivered you must notify KMD Tuning within seven (7) days of the marked delivery date so that a lost package tracer can be initiated with the shipping carrier.
Replacement products for missing or damaged items and lost shipments will not be sent until the shipping carrier completes the tracer or investigation and approves the claim in writing. Timeframes for a claim determination varies by carrier, cooperation and circumstances. Failure to cooperate with the investigation and answer questions in a timely manner will result in denial and the case will be closed without further recourse. Please note that this is the policy of the shipper and not that of KMD Tuning. KMD Tuning does not guarantee that a claim will be approved by the shipping carrier. Refunds for the value of damaged or missing items or lost packages will not be issued under any circumstances.
Buyers reserve the right to file a claim with the carrier and KMD Tuning will do our best to assist with the process if necessary once we are notified.

Freight orders are excluded from this policy as it is the responsibility of the recipient to confirm that the goods are in new condition, without damage and that the order is complete before signing for the delivery. There is no remedy if you fail to inspect the items at time of delivery before signing.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & CORE CREDITS POLICY:
Eligible returns must be in new, unused, resalable condition and in original packaging within 30 days of purchase date. Items that have been installed, used or modified will not be accepted for return under any condition. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained prior to the return by contacting KMD Tuning (call 201-773-9171 or e-mail email@example.com). Every returned item must be inspected prior to KMD approving and issuing a refund or credit. Authorized returns are subject to a restocking and/or administration fee. Buyers are responsible for all shipping charges. No returns will be accepted and no refunds or credits will be given under any condition or circumstance on clearance items, discontinued items, special order items, made to order items, built to order items, electrical parts, No Cancel-No Return items, orders beyond 30 days of purchase date, or for parts that have been installed, used, modified or altered. Payments or deposits for such items are non-refundable. If you believe the part you received is not the part you ordered please contact KMD Tuning within fourteen (14) days of purchase by calling 201-773-9171 or e-mailing email@example.com so that we can investigate the cause to make the necessary corrections if applicable. In the event that an error occurred on our website or the item was incorrectly picked/packaged from the warehouse or supplier, KMD Tuning will provide you with instructions for the exchange process. In the event that you ordered the wrong part, the returns and exchanges policy indicated above will prevail. Replacement orders will be shipped only to the address used on the original order.
Buyers are responsible for checking the product application guide prior to ordering items to verify that the parts you have selected are appropriate for your vehicle. To ensure that you are ordering the correct products you must select your vehicle prior to ordering or contact KMD Tuning for personal assistance from one of our knowledgeable team members (201-773-9171 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
Some products offered by KMD Tuning may have a core deposit charge that is required during the initial purchase. Core charges are usually combined with the initial cost of the product purchased and you may qualify for a core refund. In some cases, KMD Tuning is unaware of a core charge until after a product has been ordered. If a core charge is required after the product has been ordered, KMD Tuning will contact the buyer by phone and/or e-mail to advise you of the core charge.
In order to receive core credit, the product must be in rebuild-able condition without any damage, structural harm or missing items. The core must be returned to KMD Tuning in the original OEM package in which the original product was sent within thirty (30) days of original purchase date. Please contact KMD Tuning to obtain a CORE RMA number and instructions by e-mailing email@example.com. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. KMD Tuning will inspect all core returns (please allow ample time for this process) and reserves the right to determine if the item qualifies for credit. Cores that are not returned within thirty (30) days, in the original packaging, arrive damaged, with structural harm and/or missing items will not qualify for core credit. Junkyard cores will not be accepted under any condition or circumstance. If the item does not meet the return requirements then it will be returned or discarded at your discretion. If the core return is denied for any reason, the customer is responsible for the cost of having the item returned.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used on the order or to an in store credit, respective to the type of return that is made as well as any pre-existing arrangements with a KMD Tuning Team Member. In the event that multiple forms of payment were used, we will refund the value to an in store credit. Returns may be subject to a restocking and/or administration fee. In the event that a return label is provided, these charges may be deducted from the total refund you receive.
Shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return the shipping charges. COD deliveries will be refused to return to sender. All in-store credit balances will expire one (1) year from the original purchase date.
